Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands are to create a tri-national Special Forces Command. The command will be established under a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the countries’ defence ministers at the NATO Defence Ministers meeting on 7 June. The Composite Special Operations Component Command (C-SOCC) will participate in the NATO Response Force and could support NATO operations as well as other multinational missions.
